BATTLE AT ROCKY TOP

Based off of the feed back that we received in the spring, we are attempting to take a 10U team to compete at the Battle at Rocky Top in Gatlinburg, TN. This would be on a try-out bases open to all areas. The 10U age  cut-off is as follows:  August 1st is the age cut-off for our division. age example of the 10 & under: if your team is made up of kids 10 and younger w/ kids turning 11 after Aug. 1st, then you still compete in the 10u division. Each athlete would need to have a copy of their birth certificate on file. We are hoping to comprise a team of 20 - 24 athletes to compete in hopes of growing to more teams in the future. The cost for an athlete to compete would be $200.00, this would cover uniforms, practice facilities, tournament entry and administrative fees. This would not cover hotel and or food costs. The event starts on Friday November 18th and runs through Sunday November 20th. Last years event hosted 407 teams across all divisions, representing 22 States. This, we feel, is a great opportunity for our kids to have an opportunity to showcase the talent that we have here in the Valley.

There willl be a parent meeting Sunday September 25th at 4 PM to answer any questions you may have.

If you and/or your athlete are intersted in trying out for the team you can reach out to Strasburg Midget Football League on Facebook or you can talk to Coach Will (Junior Head Coach), Coach Leshawn (Junior Assistant Head Coach) or Coach Billy (Freshman Head Coach).

We look forward to hearing from you and hope for a great turn out.
